Quartz surfaces are engineered stone which is a man–made product comprised of natural quartz and resins to mimic the look of stone. It is extremely durable and a very popular choice for countertops in today’s market. Different colours and sizes of mined quartz are blended with advanced polymer resins and small amounts of colour. These are placed in a mold and compressed under pressure which eliminates any voids, creating a non porous surface that is then milled and polished into slabs.
